Agencies
Accessibility audits for your clients, without hiring in-house
For web design and Shopify agencies. Refer clients to us, or offer audits under your own brand, either way, you don't need an accessibility specialist on staff to offer this.
Not an agency? See our standard audit or monitoring pages instead.
Why it matters
Why this matters for your clients
Businesses selling into the EU are legally required to comply with the European Accessibility Act, and EU regulators have already issued fines under it. Germany has fined a retailer €150,000 over checkout accessibility failures, and a French court has ordered Carrefour to fix its website within six months or face a €500-a-day penalty. This isn't a future risk your clients can put off, it's already happening.
Most agencies don't have anyone in-house who can actually test this. Testing by the UK Government Digital Service found that automated tools catch roughly 30–40% of real accessibility issues at best, so a client relying on a free scanner, or a plugin their theme ships with, is only ever seeing a fraction of what's actually there. That gap is exactly what we exist to close.
Proof
Real audits, published
We've completed manual audits like this before, and published the findings. Three case studies are live now, each showing what automated scans missed and what manual testing caught, with client details anonymised. Read them here.
What we do
What we actually do
We run manual WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility audits and ongoing monitoring for ecommerce sites selling into the EU. Every audit starts with an automated scan, then moves to manual testing: keyboard-only navigation and NVDA, a free screen reader commonly used for UK compliance testing, across real checkout, cart and account flows.
The scan alone isn't the audit. Automated tools only catch roughly 30–40% of real accessibility issues at best, the rest only shows up under manual testing. A paid audit for a client you refer, or one you handle white label, follows the same rigorous process described on our audit page.
Two ways to partner
Refer, or go white label
Both options are open at once, some agencies do both. Pick whichever fits how you already work with clients.
Referral
Introduce us to a client. We handle scoping, testing and delivery directly with them, and you earn a fee for the introduction.
- One-off audits
- 25% of the audit fee, paid once
- Ongoing monitoring
- 10% of the annual retainer fee (Monitoring or Managed), for each year the client renews
- Your involvement
- Make the introduction. We handle scoping, delivery and client contact from there
White label
Offer audits under your own brand. Your client deals with you throughout, and never sees Accessimo.
- Pricing
- You set the client price, pay us a wholesale rate, and keep the difference
- Delivery
- We do the testing and write the findings report to your brand template
- Client relationship
- Stays entirely with you, start to finish
